British Airways pet policy

Are you traveling with an assistance dog? British Air welcomes it in the cabin without any extra fee. But yes, you cannot book this service online. Unfortunately, the passengers are not allowed to carry emotional support dogs while traveling via British Airways. Your emotional support dog can travel as a pet. If you are entering any UK cities, your dog must meet the Pet Travel Scheme requirements offered by the UK Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA). It allows cats and dogs to travel between some countries and UK airports, avoiding quarantine. If you are traveling to a different country, please check the relevant embassy or consulate any regulations or restrictions. For more assistance, dial the British Airways reservation number and get in touch with the passenger care officials.

British Airways child policy

A child is not subjected to book a seat if he/she has not completed 2 years. To carry an infant on your lap, you should be at least 15 years of age as per British Airways child policy. British Airways, however, insists you book a seat for each additional infant if you are traveling with more than one infant under 24 months of age.
